ACA Statement of Impartiality

ACA acts impartially in relation to its applicants, candidates and certified persons. ACA has no relationship (formal or informal) with any other company or organization, which may result in a conflict of interest arising from its certification activities. ACA offers the training, which is part of the certification scheme; however, the person responsible for the training and person responsible for evaluation are kept separate to maintain impartiality. ACA has identified and analyzed (risk-assessed) all relationships (formal or informal) with individuals which may result in a conflict of interest arising from its certification activities.

Policies and procedures for certification of persons are fair among all applicants, candidates and certified persons. The policies and procedures are clearly documented and implemented by all employees. Deviation from the documented policies and procedures are not allowed in any case.

Certification is restricted on the grounds of undue financial or other limiting conditions, such as membership of an association or group. ACA will not use procedures to unfairly impede or inhibit access by applicants and candidates. Similarly, certification of personnel involved with the Certification Manager will not be carried out. Financial or other limiting conditions, etc., are controlled and monitored by the administration and account personnel. The personnel such as Examiners, Invigilators and Certification Manager are not involved in the financial activities.

ACA has analyzed, documented and eliminated or minimized the potential conflict of interests arising from the certification activities to persons. All such risks are identified and documented and ACA is able to demonstrate how it eliminates, minimizes or manages such threats. All potential sources of conflict of interest that are identified, whether they arise from within the certification body, such as assigning responsibilities to personnel, or from the activities of other persons, bodies or organizations, subcontractor etc. are covered.
